ABOUT US

Battles Consulting Group was founded by Valerie Battles, a former Vice President of Human Resources for an insurance services organization and Sr. HR Consultant for two of the top Professional Employer Organizations (PEO) and Administrative Services Organizations (ASO) in the U.S.   Building relationships with PEO and ASO clients in various industries throughout California gave Valerie the opportunity to learn first-hand which HR services were valued most frequently by small and medium size business owners and the challenges they faced working with large service organizations relating to cost, response time, and the "one size fits all" service model.  It was based on the need to provide personalized and dedicated HR management support to businesses without committing to costly service bundles that inspired Valerie to start Battles Consulting Group.  We manage human resources so you can focus on your core business goals.


Valerie has more than 25 years' experience as a Human Resource professional, she holds a Master in Business Administration degree and is certified by the Society for Human Resource Management as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).  A partial list of Valerie's experience includes state and federal employment laws, employee relations, strategic planning, EEO investigations, policy administration, compensation planning, and training and development.
